Dem Open Call zur Ausstellung „Toastland“ von Rose Daher und Adria Vallejo folgend, entwarfen wir eine Scheibe Toast mit einer schmelzenden Butterflocke, verewigt in Zinn – einem Material, das uns nach wie vor fasziniert. So wird das Objekt zugleich zu einer Hommage an das einfache Toast wie auch an das Material selbst.

Following the open call for the exhibition Toastland by Rose Daher and Adria Vallejo, we imagined a slice of toast crowned with a melting pat of butter, immortalised in cast pewter — a material that continues to fascinate us. In this way, the work becomes both a celebration of the humble toast and of cast pewter itself.
