noir II

Noir II ist eine Fortführung der Besteckstudie noir I, die eine besondere Homage an das Entstehen von Werkzeugspuren ist. Am Beginn des Entwurfs stand die haptische Auseinandersetzung, die bei vielen Bestecken glatt daherkommt. Also Kontrast dazu wurde mittels Schnitzen von Holzmodellen und anschließendem Gießen in Metall eine Haptik erarbeitet, die zum Berühren einlädt.

 

Noir II is a continuation of the cutlery study noir I , which pays special homage to the creation of tool marks. The design process began with a focus on haptics, which are often smooth in many cutlery sets. In contrast to this, a texture that invites touch was developed by carving wooden models and then casting them in metal.
